The Kestrel, named for a swift and beautiful small falcon, lives up to its namesake in many ways. Stable and fleet even in rough water, she's a touring sea kayak that's also capable of startling speed and endurance. The Kestrel 120 (see also the Kestral 140) is available in three constructions: rotomolded, fiberglass/kevlar/graphite composite and in TCS (Thermoformed Composite System, Current Designs' exclusive construction process resulting in lighter weight while maintaining an affordable price point). Rotomolded models are available in Sandstone, Speckled Mango and Speckled Yellow colors, the composite models are available in Red or Yellow (shown above) over a smoke hull, and TCS boats are available in Red, Yellow or Caribbean Blue over smoke hull only.
